Working closely with parents/ Carers is at the heart of Daffodil class. We will share regular updates on your child’s learning, progress and targets.  

Parents/ Carers are encouraged to liaise with staff on the door to discuss daily needs and challenges. We invite you to meet with our SENco and Lead Teacher as regularly as necessary to ensure that we are best tailoring learning to your child’s needs and to answer any questions that you may have. If you wish to meet with the SENco or Lead Teacher please contact Sarah Osborne at  senco@alfredsutton.reading.sch.uk or submit your request through the office team  at admin@alfredsutton.reading.sch.uk  

Each term parents will be invited to fill out a parent/ carer questionnaire to ensure that our high standards of care are being upheld and to help support parents to continue their child’s learning at home.  

We will also be uploading children’s learning on Tapestry so that you can follow along with your child’s progression at home. We encourage parents/ carers to post their own observations on Tapestry so that their learning at home can be celebrated in school.
