Spring 2
This term’s value is taking responsibility: from Nursery to Year 6, children are taught that responsibility is important for growth and independence. Early Years and Key Stage 1 children learn that responsibility is looking after people, belongings and your actions. In Key Stage 2, the children learn that responsibility is to do everything with care to show that you are reliable.

Computing in Year 6 “Year 6 enjoyed their first attempt at 3D modelling today. They build a maze using cubes and cuboids. Really impressive designs and the children grasped designing in 3D space very quickly. Well done everyone!”

We hope that all children, parents, carers, colleagues and friends will enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere at Alfred Sutton Primary School.
It is our firm belief that if parents positively support their child’s education and attendance at school, the very best outcome can be achieved for every pupil. We therefore do everything possible to work in productive partnership with parents, including encouraging open dialogue and warmly welcoming volunteer helpers.
