A very warm welcome to all the children and parents joining us in the Nursery at Alfred Sutton Primary School.

We are delighted that you have chosen to start your school journey at Alfred Sutton Primary School Nursery and send a warm welcome to you all.

We recognise that a successful transition from home to school for a young child is so important in helping them settle to school quickly and confidently. To help you with this transition we will send you, via email, a Nursery Handbook and Nursery Photobook.

The Nursery Photobook is a visual and practical guide to help introduce your child to the school environment and virtually meet their new teachers.

The Nursery Handbook has useful practical ideas on how to help get your chid ready for Nursery; it will hopefully answer some of the questions you may have.

You will also receive through the post:

• A letter with the name of your child’s teacher and the class they will be in
• A Welcome Pack with forms which we ask you to kindly fill in and send back to school as soon as possible
