Achieving together
We are an aspirational culture and work together to secure the best academic educational outcomes possible for our pupils, in accordance with our ethos: Happy together. Achieving together.
We follow the statutory National Curriculum which:
• Provides pupils ‘with an introduction to the essential knowledge that they need to be educated citizens.’
• Introduces them ‘to the best that has been thought and said; and helps engender an appreciation of human creativity and achievement.’
(The National Curriculum, 2013)
Every learning opportunity is designed to inclusively and effectively build pupils’ knowledge, skills and cultural capital. Our provision is therefore a focused and incremental experience of education to secure strong progress and attainment for all pupils from their differing starting points.
In accordance with Ofsted criteria, we want all our pupils to
‘benefit from a well-planned and sequenced, well-taught, broad and balanced curriculum’
(School inspection handbook, 2022)
Together, we aim for a hard-working partnership that invests in children’s futures every lesson, every day.
