Higher Level Teaching Assistant required for June 2022.
Permanent Position.
30 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 INSET days.
Salary Range RG5M, Scale 22-28 £27514 – £32798, pro rata for part time
(Actual starting salary for the position is £19081 per annum)

We wish to appoint a qualified and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our
highly effective team of HLTAs. The successful candidate will work with children in identified
groups to support the school’s Catch-Up programme and will have the ability to cover a
whole class.
Ideal candidates will:
• Meet Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards or equivalent qualification or
experience
• Excellent numeracy/literacy skills – equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths
• Training in relevant learning strategies e.g. literacy
• Specialist skills/training in curriculum or learning area e.g. bi-lingual, sign language,
ICT
